Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

I hope you have had a relaxing, enjoyable, and well-deserved summer. My name is Mr. Lynam, and I am honored and excited to join the Marguerite L. Mulvey Elementary School community as your new principal.

For the past four years, I have had the privilege of serving as the principal of Charles A. Mulligan Elementary School. Prior to that, I served as both an assistant principal and principal at the high school level. I am also pleased to continue working alongside Mrs. Garcia, who will remain our assistant principal. Together, we are committed to building on the strong foundation already established at Mulvey by supporting high-quality instruction, fostering meaningful relationships, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

As we start this new school year, I look forward to partnering with our students, families, faculty, and staff to create a positive, welcoming, and collaborative learning environment. Every school year brings new opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement, and I am confident that, together, we will continue to provide engaging, rigorous, and student-centered experiences that meet the diverse needs of every child.

This year, we will continue implementing our district's instructional programs while using data-informed practices and targeted supports to help every student reach their full potential. Just as importantly, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. We are committed to maintaining open, consistent communication with families and working together to ensure that every child feels supported, challenged, and encouraged throughout the school year.
